AUSTIN CITY LIMITS MUSIC FESTIVAL 19 

For ACL 2019, Gonzo Viz was back working with C3 VIP to create a new mural documenting the artists, fans and atmosphere of the festival—created real-time over the 2 weekends of the festival. Staying true to the Gonzo Viz creedo, Ami circulated among the festival capturing what he saw in his sketchbook. Once he returned to the VIP Grove he’d add the sketches to the mural. Big acts including Guns N Roses, Cardi B, Lizzo, The Raconteurs, The Cure and Billie Eilish, were sketched and made it on the wall in addition to local favs Gary Clark Jr., Black Pistol fire and Alesia Lani along with various other artists and festival goers. VIP festival goers followed along over the weekend, many of them checking in on a daily basis. And of course the wall created a great setting for selfies and other instagrammable moments.
