IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS AND GROUP ART ACTIVITIES
As conditions allow, we are returning to in-person workshops and group art projects. We offer all of our remote workshops as in-person events, but with the robust interaction that being in the same space and seeing everyone from multiple angles allows. We also provided a wide range of materials for attendees to use and experiment with.
We also offer amazing group art projects, from group mural creation to animation, allowing for individuals to explore their own creativity while working together to create something bigger as a group.

GROUP ART ACTIVITIES
When a group comes together to create something, there is a little they can’t accomplish and the results almost always amaze. In our group art activities the group creates an impressive piece of art while participants are also expressing their individual ideas and creativity. We experiment with all sorts of creative media including paint, cut paper, pastels, ink, spray paint (where ventilation allows) and work with as many repurposed and recycled materials as possible to create something both eclectic and singularly powerful.
Great for team building or social outings!
Generally 2.5-3 hours but can be designed to fit your time frame
GROUP MURAL CREATION
In this activity we will design the “bones” of a mural and allow for each attendee to decorate a section in their own particular way, in the medium or medium of their choice, expressing themselves as they like as long as stay within the basic structure. At the end, when all the pieces are together, the group has created a beautiful, cohesive yet eclectic, piece of artwork, which can be installed in an office or commercial space as a testament to the creativity and power of the group.
GROUP ANIMATION CREATION
Animation is definitely a labor intensive process—but there is strength in numbers. Animation is also a highly flexible and creative medium, and there are really very few rules. In this activity we create a framework for an animated piece and give attendees of ALL CREATIVE SKILL LEVELS to decorate and create each frame, experimenting with mediums and with the freedom to insert their own ideas and styles. The result: an eclectic animated movie that can be displayed and shared as a testament to the groups creativity and as a demonstration of coming together to carryout what would be a monumental task alone.
CREATIVE WORKSHOPS
FORGETFUL DRAWING
In this workshop we will do a series of quick, fun drawing exercises designed to help forget our preconceived ideas of how to draw specific objects—instead learning how to render the world through the form and values that the eye perceives.
Time: 30-120 minutes
(For Remote) Minimum supplies needed: Paper and any drawing implement
READY, SET, ANIMATE!
Anyone can animate! This workshop will focus on simple techniques for bringing your ideas and observations to life with hand-drawn animation. You will learn how to make simple, but impactful animations using our Gonzo Viz process and materials that you have lying around the house. It's a great activity no matter your artistic skill level and background!
Time: 90-180 minutes
(For Remote) Minimum supplies needed: Paper, any drawing implement, free app for iOS or Android
This workshop will focus on simple techniques for bringing to life your work with a hand drawn animation feel. We will show you how to make simple, but impactful animations using our Gonzo Viz process and ubiquitous or DYI design tools and is great for folks of all skill levels and backgrounds
Great for team building or social outings!
Generally 2.5-3 hours but can be designed to fit your time frame
Up to 25 people (larger groups can be accommodated under most circumstances)
HOME OFFICE SUPERHERO
Using items around your office as inspiration, create your own personal superhero. We will sketch the superhero, create the origin story and describe its powers (no radioactive spiders or gamma rays allowed!) Great for flexing that storytelling muscle, both written and visually.
Time: 45-60 minutes
Minimum supplies needed: Paper and any drawing implement
