On March 6th Ami packed up his pencils and watercolors and headed over to the Capital Factory to cover the SHERO, presented by WPengine and spearheaded by their Senior Director of Product Marketing, Monica Cravotta. The evening focused on #deedsnotwords - equality and empowerment for women in the workplace. Ami captured the sights, sounds and ideas with talks from Monica, the ATX Diversity & Inclusion Panel,  Alicia Weigel from Deeds Not Words, and Jane Hervey from Boss Babes ATX, amongst others. Between the inspiring and informative talks there were soulful old-school sounds from Chulita Vinyl Club and live t-shirt printing by Industry Print Shop, creating a choice of 4 pieces of wearable art designed to help amplify the message of the night. Ami captured quickly and turned the imagery around for a successful deployment in social while the vibe of the night was still fresh. Monica even used the drawing of her talk as her FB profile pic!
