CIVITAS LEARNING SUMMIT 2018

(Photos by Sarah Doliver) For their 2018 Summit, which included attendees from across the higher learning field, Civitas Learning brought Ami in to capture the speakers and the ideas they brought forth. Ami worked with the conference style and "Superhero" theme, mirroring the color palette, incorporating the Summit's branding elements and adding in comic book elements in his drawings in order to create a natural flow and synchronicity with the experience of the event.

Ami covered 3 keynotes and 15 panels in 2 days, creating 23 paintings and Civitas successfully leveraged this wealth of content in several ways. The keynote speakers, including Sara Goldrick-Rab of Temple University and NY Times best-selling author Jeff Selingo, each received original paintings while the panel members each received a beautiful archival print of their session. The images were used as great content for social, both real-time as well as post event to point back to content from the event. This also spurred a flurry of meaningful social interaction amongst speakers and attendees alike.
